The VDX-S2 Handheld Alloy Analyzer is primarily designed for fast and non-destructive alloy identification and approximate alloy composition analysis, as well as metal identification and Positive Material Identification (PMI). It is suitable for a wide range of high and low-temperature alloy steels, stainless steels, tool steels, chromium/molybdenum steels, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, nickel/cobalt heat-resistant alloys, and titanium alloys.
