viking's vertical metal detectors can be ordered in either lacquered aluminium (or stainless steel) with a wide range of opening sizes. 

With the help of a support frame, the detector can be assembled in a variety of ways.

 A stream can be treated with an automatic reject system to eliminate contaminated products. The pressure is controlled by the air pressure. 

It is recommended that the product be passed through the metal detector by using an UHMW-antistatic pipe. A drawer is available to store the test ball. This simplifies manual testing.

For specific packaging designs, viking offers a compact metal detector that can be placed in confined spaces. This detector is placed between a Multihead weigher and vertical packaging machines.
